Preparation for Printing - Design Files
We allow you to create diverse designs for custom-printed silk fabrics. To cater to different preferences, you can add flowers, lines, geometric patterns, animals, landscapes, paintings, sketches, hand drawings, logos, and more to your design. You can even scan your favorite artwork for printing if the copyright allows.
We recommend that you keep your digital images at a resolution of 150-300 dpi, which ensures that our printing machines can capture every brushstroke and accurately reproduce color variations. We also have professional designers available to help you with creating and modifying your designs. If you’re short on time and don’t have a suitable design, we have existing designs ready for production that you can use.

Process for Printing - Printing Methods
Sinosilk has experienced craftsmen who have been engaged in printing for many years and the latest introduction of printing machines, ensuring high-quality prints on your silk fabrics. Based on this foundation, we offer three printing methods for your designs:
Digital Printing
After your design is carefully color-matched, it will be printed using a pre-set program. The nozzles spray the ink onto the fabric, creating vibrant patterns from the colorful droplets. Digital printing has no restrictions on design or fabric and guarantees quick turnaround times, making it ideal for small orders.
Digital Double-Sided Printing
We have three types of double-sided printing machines that can achieve either synchronized or non-synchronized printing on both sides of the fabric. Either type ensures that your printed silk fabric showcases artistic appeal on both the front and back. Double-sided printing is more suitable for thicker silk fabrics, helping to minimize imperfections.
Silk Screen Printing
Silk screen printing requires the production of a screen plat in the corresponding color, which can be costly and time-consuming. However, silk screen printing on silk fabrics offers high accuracy and color saturation, making it an ideal choice if you have specific color requirements. This method is more suitable for simpler designs, while the larger the quantity the more you save.
Post-Printing Process - Printing and Cutting Instructions
When printing, we use blank spaces to ensure impeccable results. A blank area is reserved at the front of the fabric for printer calibration and to optimize production. The blank spaces on the sides of the fabric are used for machine fixation.
Please note: We cover the costs associated with these blank spaces. After processing and quality inspection, you will receive perfectly printed silk fabric that matches the length of your order.
When cutting, your design is of utmost importance. If your design consists of a repeating pattern, we will follow standard cutting procedures. However, for non-repeating patterns, you need to consider whether the length of your order can fully accommodate your design. You can contact us for help from our team of professionals.
